The ultimate relaxed holiday getaway shack. A redesigned 60 year old Queenslander situated in the heart of Noosa. We wanted all the old world charm interlaced with fresh and modern luxury. Ensuring the old floors were kept in tact was a must, rich brown wooden floors, with crisp whites and raw timber finishes, and softened off with luxury linens. We wanted to create a place of relaxation and easy living, without compromising lux.

The River Shack catches the beautiful summer breezes making it the perfect spot to hang out. Whether it is a family holiday, a friends getaway, or a romantic couples weekend, the River Shack is the perfect setting.

Noosa is home to some of the most iconic beaches worldwide, we have an array of beaches all with different aspects making beach days possible in any conditions.  Noosa Main Beach, Little Cove and Sunshine Beach are just a few of our spectacular famous spots.  Our top picks: Little Cove at low tide, Noosa Main Beach at any time but sunsets from here are gorgeous, Sunshine beach on a calm day (perfect for walking long distance or beach runs)

The River Shack
There is a bus stop 20 m from our gate where you can catch a free holiday bus to any of the beaches that are not within walking distance.

Noosa River and the well known Gympie terrace are on our door step, and with all the beautiful blue water around, there are many water activities to choose from… Jet ski tours, stand up paddle lessons or hire, surfing, boating, sunset cruises and more.

Our suggestions: Take a walk along the river on your first morning, and check out all the local businesses, make sure to book your activity to avoid disappointment. Top Picks: A sunset cruise on the Catalina. Or hire a boat for the day and head over to Noosa Northshore for the whitest sand and aqua blue water -be sure to pack a picnic (or let us supply you one) as you will want to be out there all day.
